Mimmi and I had for a long time longed for taking care of a dog and we eventually decided when I stayed at her place in London earlier that autumn. When I got back to Sweden I had two months off before my medical studies started, which was ideal for taking care of a four months old puppy. A cross between Weimaraner and Jämthund (swedish polar dog). She was named Alva, which is an old swedish name. Alv is elf in swedish and this is the first photos of her, from late November until late December 2004.
