In June I went with Oscar, Erika, Kajsa, Terje and Erik to spend a couple of weeks on the south coast of Spain on the Iberian peninsula. We stayed in Nerja, which is an old moorish town east of Málaga. In its moorish times it was known as Narixa, and before that it was a roman settlement named Detunda.

Clouds from above on the southbound flight. One can imagine the imagination run amok of the first people to witness these views.

The area of Almijara, where we stayed in Nerja.

Erika on her way to the British pub where we watched the World Cup.

On the motorway heading west.

The first view of the rock of British Gibraltar.
