In June 2003, Mimmi, her brother Fredrik, me and my brother Sebastian, went towards the top of Mont Blanc in France. It is the highest peak in the Alps and with its 4807 metres (15771 feet) it is the top of Europe. The trekking lasted almost a week altogether and here are some tempting (?) shots:
The first sunset. This last picture is taken from a tunnel we passed through.
Early on the second day we met some curious mountaingoats.
No matter direction the view makes one humble.
Heading towards basecamp, the scenery is overwhelming.
The glacier de Téte Rousse at approx 3250 metres (10663 feet) where we had our basecamp and where Fredrik and Mimmi remained, whilst Sebastian and I ventured further the following day.
