The past eleven years, long after the C64 commerce was dead. Impressive. Is this a lasting trend... running parallel with demo scene? The Ultimate Newcomer is about to be released; the longest worked on game project ever on the C64. New titles like Soulless are really shaking the ground with excitement. Knight 'n' Grail is certainly an example of what a polished production of modern times can look like, with slick packaging and presentation. Hopefully Lars does further work on his Scramble project and also Hein and enthusi with their stuff, also not to forget my own one, Hawkeye 2. All we need is unlimited time and unlimited inspiration (those nasty crackers, maybe they can help us here)...

There are many good reasons why the C64 was sold as a gaming machine... Stroker may not have been one of them, but I do miss it here. There are so many releases that could expand this chart like an animal bloated with maggots. A good variety in this chart too, with adventure classics like Ultima V over to the US classics like Summer Games.
Last Ninja 2 because of the soundtrack? Let us take a look at the last of the Game Charts, the one of nostalgic glory.

I miss the Tetris tune by Wally Beben. Game music on the C64 has been the inspiration of many, the unique sound of C64 SID can just creep into your thinking when you least expect it. This chart shows two giants of commercial output, Rob Hubbard and Jeroen Tel - the numbers show this fact, but there is so many more... so many that are missing, still, this chart is a powerful result of music that has made people get goosebumps for all these years!
And that concludes this edition's appendix! Thanks for reading and make sure to support our regular chart! Your vote is heavy, make it count!
